Q. I need a bolt- on hitch to transport my home. Do you have them?
A. Yes, but it will not match your bolt pattern (they never do), so the hitch will need to be welded on.
Q. Can I use "adjustable" axles to move my home?
A. Since "slider/adjustable" axles have not been tested or approved by the U. S. Dept. of Transportation, they are not a legal means of transporting a mobile home. We are able to provide the correct size axle to eliminate this liability.
Q. Do I need to remove the furniture from my mobile home in order to transport it?
A. The number of axles necessary to transport your mobile home was based on the "empty" weight of the home. If you choose to leave your furnishings inside during transport, extra equipment may be necessary to avoid damage to your home.
Q. Do you perform repairs for Insurance Co.'s?
A. Yes. If your trailer has been damaged and you are making a claim with your Insurance Co, Please call us, we'll be happy to give you a bid.
Q. How can I find out about the proper times and limitations to safely transport my mobile home?
A. In our area, oversize loads such as mobile homes cannot be transported in the city limits between the hours of 7 to 9 AM and 4 to 6 PM. There is also a restriction for hauling after sundown. If the home is over 12ft wide, it may not be transported over holidays and weekends. To find out the specifics in your area, the information can be obtained by contacting a local transport contractor.
